HOMEOWNER ACCESS

When the gate is closed, homeowners can use either a hand held remote control opener, a proximity fob or the individual private gate code assigned by the Road and Gate Chair to open the gate. The proximity fob must be waved within 6 inches of the call box to activate the computer to open the gate. Additional openers and proximity fobs are available for purchase. GUEST ACCESS

When guests arrive at the gate, they utilize the call box to contact the homeowner. Instructions on the call box advise guests to locate the homeowner's name and to dial the three digit code to contact the homeowner. Each homeowner's phone number is stored in the gate computer memory. The computer dials the phone. Homeowners press the number 9 on their touch tone phone to allow their guests to enter.

SPECIAL GATE ACCESS

Residents of Catlin Crest may request the gate be open for private parties and special events. If you wish to request special gate access accommodation contact [email protected] at least one week in advance of the event.

GATE POWER FAILURE

The gate has a built-in device that will automatically open the gates in the event of a power failure. Once power is restored, the gates will automatically close and resume normal operation.
